The first consultation is an introductory meeting with Dr. Vernillo, with no commitment. We talk about your goals, we look at your individual anatomy and we weigh up the options together. There are no silly questions: every doubt deserves a clear answer.
It depends on the procedure. Procedures such as blepharoplasty allow a return to daily activities in 7–10 days. More complex ones such as abdominoplasty require 3–4 weeks of relative rest. Dr. Vernillo provides a personalised after-care plan before the procedure.
The choice of anaesthetic — local, sedation or general — depends on the procedure and on the patient’s condition. It is assessed case by case together with the anaesthetist, with the greatest attention to safety and comfort.
